Brave New Girl

I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing - my technical saavy vanished four children ago - but more than one friend has insisted I channel my interest in writing into blogging: the 21st century awaits! Time is short and my learning curve is long, so this should at least be amusing if not interesting.

It takes a certain mixture of arrogance, stupidity, and bravery to blog, but I didn't move to Alaska to end up cowering in a corner. So here it goes...
